With over 25 years of combined experience in Asset Management, Stock Broking, and Consumer Financial Education, Thoko Mngomezulu is a high-achieving professional known for her unwavering commitment to professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, resourcefulness, and competence.
Thoko’s diverse investment expertise was primarily cultivated during her tenure at RMB Asset Management, where she began as an Equity trader and later transitioned to an assistant role supporting portfolio managers. Subsequently, she made the move to the sell side and became part of a stock broking firm. In her capacity as a client relations officer, Thoko actively participated in initiatives aimed at raising awareness about consumer financial education, enhancing her understanding of investment requirements within the broader South African and African communities, and dispelling the myth that only the affluent can engage in stock market investments. During her tenure at the stockbroking firm, she successfully initiated a new portfolio of black investors.
Thoko’s enthusiasm for investments remains unwavering, and she continues to champion the cause of greater financial inclusion and the promotion of awareness surrounding financial products and investment opportunities, both for individuals and corporate entities.
Rhulani Madale
Co-Founder & Director
Rhulani brings a wealth of experience, amassing 12 years in the fields of investment banking and logistics, boasting a remarkable track record in prominent financial institutions, as well as in rail, port, and pipeline corporations. During his tenure as an Investment Banker in the Global Markets division at Nedbank, Rhulani began his career trading equity derivatives before subsequently transitioning to currency derivatives trading. He jointly oversaw an annual budget of R50 million.
In 2012, Rhulani embarked on a significant role within Transnet Group Treasury, where his primary mission was to facilitate the acquisition of R300 billion in capital for Transnet, enabling the realization of its capital investment program known as the Market Demand Strategy (MDS). During this period, he achieved notable success by raising R92 billion through Export Credit-backed funding, bilateral and syndicated loans, and Debt Capital Markets (DCM), both in domestic and international financial markets. Within the domain of Group Treasury, Rhulani’s responsibilities encompassed a diverse range of areas, including liquidity management, structured finance, debt management, and the implementation of risk mitigation strategies designed to hedge foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate (IR) exposures.
Furthermore, Rhulani’s expertise extends to the logistics sector, with a specific emphasis on the development of rail and port infrastructure projects. He excels in overseeing the financial and commercial aspects of the project development process, making significant contributions to managing both short-term and long-term financing requirements
Kagisho Moroka

Kagisho Kagisho has more than 12 years financial services experience spanning across Investment Banking, Global Markets, Private Equity and Hegde Fund Services. Kagisho’s mainly gained his investment experience locally working with institutions such as Standard Bank CIB and Investec Bank Limited.
Kagisho has been integral in providing hedging services for over 5000 trades spanning across Project Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, and specialised funding. As a financial services professional, Kagisho’s experience ranges from hedging services, foreign exchange advisory, derivatives, valuations, funding and fund services.
Kagisho has valuable networks both in the private and public sectors, and combined with his vast experience in financial services, he is an asset to the LuRhu Investment Solutions management.
